Rohima received early dance training from Kailani Ward, Inga Lujerenko, Eugene Slavin, and Alexandra Nadal. In high school she attended on full-scholarship The HARID Conservatory where she studied with Victoria Schneider, Olivier Pardina, and Svetlana Osiyeva, and at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the direction of Susan Jaffe, with instruction from Misha Tchopacov, Laura Martin, Dana Fox, Jennet Zerbe, Jared Redick, and Eva Draw. While at UNCSA she represented the school in the Youth America Grand Prix ballet competition and won “Top 12” in the ballet division. Rohima spent summers on full-scholarship at The HARID Conservatory, Miami City Ballet, Ballet Austin, Carolina Ballet, Texas Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.
Upon graduating from high school, Rohima spent four years dancing with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre where she had the opportunity to perform leading roles with the graduate company, Sugar Plum Fairy from The Nutcracker and Odette from Swan Lake. She also performed soloist roles with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s Main Company in Alice in Wonderland, Swan Lake, and Rubies. Later she performed with Winston-Salem Festival Ballet in leading roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Spanish Lead from The Nutcracker and ‘In East Virginny’, ‘Bonnie Blue Eyes’, and ‘The Cuckoo’ from From Appalachia (a contemporary collaboration with the Piedmont Opera), as well as soloist roles from Tribute to Broadway.
Rohima has been a proud teacher of talented students at Winston-Salem Festival Ballet and High Point Ballet, and has guest taught at a school in Kalimantan, Indonesia. She is an American Ballet Theatre certified teacher and looks forward to her new chapter in Boise, and teaching at Dance Unlimited.
