Lesley Thompson

Lesley Thompson, is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer.  She started her professional career with Idaho Dance Theatre and Off Center Dance companies.  Still an avid performer, Lesley has appeared on many stages throughout the country in a variety of contemporary works.  Lesley has also graced the runway and been featured in print throughout Las Vegas. She has shared her love of dance with students across the country as a dance educator for over 25 years.  She has been on faculty at top dance studios throughout Seattle, Las Vegas, and Idaho. She is currently the Ballet Director at Dance Unlimited in Boise.

Lesley’s background includes ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap, and modern dance. Her versatility includes training from top studios throughout the country including The Edge Performing Arts Center, Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles, Broadway Dance Center in New York, The Rock Center for Dance in Las Vegas, and The Studios in Seattle, WA.

In addition to dance, Lesley received her BA in Psychology from Boise State University. She is a certified 200hr Yoga instructor in vinyasa and yin styles of yoga received in Seattle, WA. She has a barre certification through Barre Bohemian, and is certified to teach aerial yoga through Flight Room Seattle.  Lesley is a judge for Spotlight Dance Cup and Thunderstruck Dance Competitions.  She now resides in the Boise area, where she continues to perform, teach, and adjudicate.
