SUMMER CLASS CARDS
Competition team dancers will be requiring that dancers take a minimum number of individual classes throughout June/July. Via your Studio Director account, you will need to purchase your CLASS CARD for your required summer classes.
- Log in to your SD account.
- Click the drop down and select “Purchase Retail Items”.
- Click the “Tuition” option and then select your class card.
- Proceed through the checkout process.
- Once purchased, your card will remain at the front desk at the studio.
- If you want to purchase additional class cards, just simply repeat the process.
You can find your dancer’s number of required classes next to his/her team below. All competition team summer classes are found under the 2024 Summer Competitive Classes tab. Simply log in to your SD account, select that season and then pick all your classes! Eminence crews are not required to take “class” via the class card (but are welcome to), just attend the Intensive (see below). A reminder that once you register for a class, that class will be taken off your punch card. Additionally, once you register for a class, your schedule cannot be changed and if you register for a class and do not attend, that class cannot be returned to your class card. Lastly, if dancers do not meet their class requirement, they will forfeit their place on team.
THE INTENSIVE. Company & Eminence Crews will be required to attend this Intensive, July 15-19. Dancers will take classes from guest teachers and some choreography will be set, depending on teams/schedules. This class and choreography schedule is coming soon!
MANDATORY PARENT MEETINGS
If you cannot attend, please send a representative. Lack of attendance indicates that you do not want to be part of our competition teams for the 2024-2025 season. If attending in person, please no children. There will be a Zoom option available for each meeting as well.

Our fall schedule will be open for enrollment June 15th. We will send out each team’s class requirements/recommendations prior to that so you know what to register for.
FULL SEASON SCHEDULE
Your full season schedule (choreography, competitions, studio events) will be available and sent out on July 1st in your competition team packet.
PRO TEAMS will be decided at a later date.

Our award-winning competition teams were created for dancers who have a passion for dance, and who regard dance as their most important extra-curricular activity.
Competition teams are chosen by auditions, which are held in the spring. And teams are in session for the school year, September through May.
Dancers perform approximately 9-13 times per year in the community in parades, BSU games, high school drill team events, our recitals, and more. They also attend conventions and participate in between three and five competitions, depending on the team.
We offer several Competition Dance Teams.

Classes for Competition Dance Teams
· All teams meet a minimum of once/week as a team. Requirements go up or down based on age and level of team.
· All teams take at least one Ballet class per week.
· All teams take one non-performing Jazz Technique class per week.
Competition Dance Team members receive a multi-class discount on all classes.
Costumes
Each team dancer generally purchases 2-4 costumes for their team dances, as well as a ballet costume for their Ballet Class.
