This past weekend our competition teams participated in the Nexus Dance Competition here in Boise. It was a wonderful event, featuring soloists, small group dances, and team performances from several studios across the state. We are so proud of the showmanship, grace, and hard work shown by our dancers during this competition. And their hard work paid off! Here is a list of the awards that the teams received:

Our winter recital "Welcome to DUVille" was a huge success! We so enjoyed watching all the dancers on stage! They all showed off all the skills they have learned in just a short period of time and entertained happy crowds all day long. With visitors like Santa and the Grinch...we had a fun filled day, that's for certain. We are so proud of each and every dancer this semester and look forward to next semester and seeing how much further they progress.

Below is the required hair and makeup for recital. We have broken up the hair based on your dancer's class style. Hair
Classical Ballet - Ballet bun (see attachment and diagram is also posted in studios #1 & #2)
Ballet/Jazz Combo - If the class is doing a ballet dance, they will do a ballet bun (see attachment). If they are doing a jazz dance, they will do a high, curly ponytail, centered on crown of head.
