Jonathan Harris is currently a Soloist with Ballet Idaho. He began his formal dance training in Dallas, TX before moving to New York at the age of 16 to pursue further ballet instruction in the Balanchine style at the School of American Ballet. In 2015, Jonathan became a professional dancer with Sacramento Ballet. After 4 seasons, he moved to Ohio to dance with Dayton Ballet. While at Dayton Ballet, also for 4 seasons, Jonathan was a member of the faculty of the Dayton Ballet School specializing in beginning boys, advanced men’s classes, partnering, and preprofessional technique. Now as a resident of Boise, he enjoys Ballet Idaho’s fulfilling performance schedule, walking on the Greenbelt, and getting to know the amazing community. Jonathan is excited to share his decade of professional dance and teaching experience with Dance Unlimited!
