Emily Luria

Emily is originally from Mason, Ohio where she began her dance training with Mason Dance Center and finished her high school years with Steve Bierens and Hannah Dorfmueller at Le Jeune Dance Academy.

Following her high school graduation, Emily was offered a scholarship with BalletMet’s trainee program where she performed in several company productions during the 2018-2020 seasons. After two seasons in the trainee program, Emily was promoted to BalletMet’s second company for the 2020-2021 season.

After BalletMet, Emily spent two seasons dancing as a professional company member with Dayton Ballet in Ohio. With Dayton Ballet, she performed in a wide variety of works and was very fortunate to do some leading parts such as Tinkerbell in Septime Webre’s Peter Pan, Jordan Baker in Ron Cunningham’s The Great Gatsby, and the Snow Pas de Deux from Karen Russo Burke’s The Nutcracker.

After dancing with Dayton, Emily continued her career with Ballet Idaho as a company artist in 2023 and is excited to begin her second season with them this year.

Along with dancing professionally in Columbus, Dayton, and Boise, Emily has been teaching dance since 2022 at a variety of schools and studios around the Dayton and Boise areas, including the Dayton Ballet School.
