To round out our amazing new staff, here is a quick introduction to two more teachers that we are lucky to call part of our dance family! Please give them a warm welcome.
Arielle Jenkins teaches acro for DU. She was born in California and raised in Idaho. She started dance and gymnastics at the age of 4. Arielle competed in gymnastics for 10 years. She trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and hip hop, and was also on her high school dance team and a studio team. She is currently a student at Boise State and in her second year of Mane Line. Arielle is going to school for an early and special education degree. She loves teaching kids of all ages!
Mikaila Hardman teaches our ballet/jazz and hip hop classes. She started her dance career in Denver, Colorado training at the Starstruck Academy of dance. At the age of 7, she moved to London, where she continued her dance training at such institutions as the Royal Academy of Ballet, Pineapple Dance Studio and Extreme Dance. There, she earned several titles including Miss Teen Star Power along with several professional dance opportunities. She finished her dance training in Salt Lake City at The Dance Project SLC under the direction of Laila Hardman. She holds several national titles and scholarships including Miss Adrenaline Rush and LADM Magic Dancer. Mikaila began her teaching career at The Dance Project SLC and continues to teach for various studios and dance teams throughout Utah and Idaho. Mikaila is currently dancing for the Boise State Mane Line dance team.
