Kylee Solberg

Kylee began dancing at the age of 8 at the Ballet School of Coeur d'Alene under the direction of Ceci Klein. Classical ballet was her sole area of concentration, as she trained 14 consecutive years in the art form. Kylee attended prestigious ballet summer programs including Pacific Northwest Ballet, Kansas City Ballet and The Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton Florida on full scholarship. During her years of training, she was awarded Gold and Silver medals at Musicfest Northwest in the Ballet Divisions, as well as being awarded Young Artist.
Classical ballet has open many doors for Kylee, including her success in the Miss America Organization. Kylee was crowed Miss Idaho 2016 and competed at the Miss America Competition in September of 2016. She was chosen as a Top 15 Finalist, which was the first time Idaho had made the Top 15 since 1971 based on preliminary scores. She performed a classical variation from Don Quixote for her talent piece and accumulated over $20,000 in scholarships.
Seeing the impact ballet has had on her life and the lessons she has learned, Kylee holds ballet near and dear to her heart. Ballet requires discipline, dedication, resilience and teaches students so much more than just ballet steps. Kylee recently graduated from Boise State University with B.A in Communication and a minor in Sociology. She currently works two other jobs as a Transaction Coordinator at Coldwell Banker Tomlinson Group and a Senior Wedding Coordinator with Ira and Lucy. She is thrilled to be sharing her love of ballet with the students at Dance Unlimited and is excited for all there is to come!
