Jamie Schultz grew up in Pasco, WA and started her training in ballet at the young age of three. She spent many summer’s training and receiving scholarships to various schools including Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, School of American Ballet in NYC, and San Francisco Ballet. Her first two years after high school were spent training at Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle as a part of their professional division. She spent a year dancing with Los Angeles ballet, and then the next year joined Ballet West in Salt Lake City which is were she spent the past 8 years of her career. While with Ballet west she was able to perform in theaters across the US such as The Auditorium in Chicago, The Kennedy Center in DC, The Smith Center in Vegas, Wolftrap in Virginia, and The Joyce Theater in NYC. She has discovered a love for teaching over the past few summers, and has taught for schools in Salt Lake City. She is excited to pass on the knowledge and passion she has gained from the many great teachers and choreographers she’s had throughout her career.
