Deidre Miller

Deidre has been dancing since the age of 3. She grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho and started her instruction at Nielsen's School of Dance. While there she was part of their Stargazers Dance Company that competed throughout the Western region in Idaho, Utah, Nevada, and California. Throughout her time with Nielsen's School of Dance and the Stargazer Dance Company she was trained in tap lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, character, and jazz funk. With her team, Deidre was a 9-time Grand Champion Winner and a 2-time National Winner at Hoctor's Dance Competition with their tap and hip hop routines.

After high school Deidre attended Brigham Young University where she studied Recreation Management. While attending BYU Deidre was able to be a part of two different dance teams. She was a member and featured soloist for the Tap Dance Ensemble: Foot Poetry which was created of BYU students from across the country. She was also a member of BYU'S International Folk Dancers for two years. During her time with the International Folk Dancers she was a featured spring performer, a team captain, and learned dance styles from across the globe. In addition to her time with the two teams Deidre competed in the Miss America Organization and performed tap as her talent, in which she won many talent awards.

Deidre currently works full time at Boise State University as an Event Coordinator and a cardio dance fitness instructor at the Boise State Recreation Center. She is the Executive Director for the Miss Idaho Organization and has choreographed their opening number and fitness routines for the last three years. Deidre is new to the Dance Unlimited team and is so excited to share her passion for tap with the Treasure Valley.
